About your coach

Christopher Yee

Data Center Coach

Chris has acted as outside and in-house legal counsel to some of the world's largest tech companies and data center operators. Currently based in San Francisco and previously in London, Chris has broad international data center operating experience and has been a featured speaker at a number of international data center forums. He now serves as an outside consultant to Amlaw 100 law firms and as outside counsel to international data center operators. In 2022 alone, Chris assisted in closing over $1B in data center leasing transactions. In his free time, he enjoys learning video production and throwing pottery as a side hustle. Chris is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

    Yes. In fact, the Fundamentals of Data Center Business and Law began as a live training course for Amlaw 100 law firms, private equity investors, and global data center operators. Chris took the full length live course and created this online series to make the training easier to consume and more affordable for students.   • Will I get MCLE credit?

    This course is a mix of law and business. The legal portions have been approved for 1.75 hours of general MCLE credit by the California Bar. Many non-California jurisdictions provide credit for California MCLE activities, so check your local rules to see if you can obtain credit for taking the course.
